Heritage
With the launch of Yunmen America, Yunmen continues to honor its proud heritage as a provider of the finest luxury spirits.
Yunmen’s rich heritage in winemaking technically goes back only several decades. In a very real sense, however, that heritage is thousands of years old. The Shandong Qingzhou Yunmen Liquor (Group) Co., Ltd is located in the ancient city of Qingzhou, which Is often referred to as the Pearl of the Sea. Renowned as an important center of Dongyi culture, Qingzhou is also considered to be one of the most important cradles for spirits culture.
For thousands of years, the area has been home to some of the finest spiritmakers in the world. That rich tradition is something that Yunmen has always focused on, as we endeavored to live up to that proud heritage of accomplished spirit production. It’s why our company continues to focus on living up to the best of its history, honoring all those who came before us while delivering on that ancient promise of quality, aroma, and taste.
China and Spirit Culture
Though most people might associate fine spirits with places like France, Italy, or even California, China’s market is one of the world’s largest. Recent data confirms that China ranks among the top ten markets for spirits, and the country is the fifth-largest consumer for imported and domestic varieties. Billions of bottles of Baijiu and Jiang-flavored spirits are consumed each year. At the same time, Chinese spirit production has been growing by leaps and bounds.
Today, China’s domestic production of spirits – including within Qingzhou – provides consumers with an array of delightful options to satisfy nearly every taste. Yunmen is proud to be a part of that effort, honoring our historic heritage in the spirit industry as we serve new generations of consumers.
